OK, is it me or was it aweful taste for Mariah Carey to have a diamond encrusted microphone on a show that is asking for donations for poverty, hunger, aids and maleria?
DH and I just looked at that and couldn't believe it. Poor taste IMO.

The show's parent company is News Corp and they tend to incorporate religious (specifically Christian) elements into their products.

Ooh, I don;t mind either.
But I am sure it will get criticism.
I really didnt care for it. I understand the show was an appeal to the masses for charity purposes, so the song was appropriate. But if it were a recurring religious theme throughout the entire series, it would be a huge turn off to me. JMO.

I think it was totally part of his schtick. They were pretending they didn't know who each other were because of the age difference. It was cute at first but it went on way too long.

what did Daughtry sing? I've always wanted to hear him/them live. All the times I saw Bon Jovi but it was never when Daughtry opened!
