American Museum of Natural History??

We are going to see Radio City Christmas Spect. on Nov 30th. I wanted to take Emma to the museum to the Hayden because she is obsessed with planets but do you think that the rest of the museum (ie the dinosaurs, dioramas etc) would be worth taking her to or will it be a waste?? She is 4

It wasn't a waste for us when we went last year. The big dinosaur exhibit isn't there any longer. They do still have the huge dinosaurs in the center of the hall, along with the skeletons of a few in the Fossil Hall.

They have the dioramas, the elephants, etc which were a big hit with my kids (at the time aged 2 & 4).

One thing I will say is that the museum itself is A LOT for a four year old to do in one day. I'm not sure what time your Christmas Spectacular tickets are, but you're better off going to that first so you can cut out of the museum when she starts getting fussy.

Here's the link to the museum: http://www.amnh.org/

We're still debating going to the Lizard, Snakes & Reptile exhibit on Columbus Day.

My "big plan" for the day that is 2 months awayChat Icon is to go to the museum at 10 for like 2 hours (I know not a lot of time but just something to do) its enough time to look at some stuff. Have some lunch go to see the Rockettes at 2 then go see the x-mas tree in RF center at 4:30-5 when it gets dark.
