Amnio results...updated with sex of our peanut!
So I got my amnio results yesterday and the baby is healthy. I am so relieved. The only thing I don't have is the sex of the baby.......the lab made and error and we haven't got the results yet - so exasperating!
I posted earlier this month asking forr opinions on doing the test because my DH and I struggled with this decision. In the end, we decided to do the test to be as educated as we possible could be. The test wasn't horrible. I made sure that I had no sugar the day of the test. The baby was very calm and did not move a lot. I watched the monitor the entire time. My DH said it was really hard for him to watch - he felt so bad for me. When they put the needle in, I felt pelvic pressure but it was only for a minute or two.
So now we wait to find out the sex of our little one!

Update: Our little peanut is a baby BOY, I felt it from day one......my DH and are so happy. It all seems so real now. Let the shopping begin!

So happy to hear all is well.
How did they screw up. All they had to do was count the chromosomes, and they couldn't tell you xx or xy??
I hope you find out soon!!
