Amnio today.... UPDATE!!
I have my amnio today. I hope everything goes well for me and baby!!!
**UPDATE**
Thank you for your support!
All went well. I was resting this afternoon. This is a 30 minute procedure. Most of it was an ultrasound. The tech. checked the brain, spine, kidneys, heart, etc.... She was very good.
The actual needle procedure was just 1 minute (no kidding!). The tech guided the Dr. to make sure the needle would not go close to the baby.
As a side note, I had read not to eat prior to the procedure because the baby could be more active. When I asked the tech about it. She told me it was true.
Mostly we found out we are having a little boy!!!
I just have to rest and take it easy for 72 hours.
