Amniotic Fluid
Does anyone know how you would know if your amniotic fluid is low? Thanks!

Re: Amniotic Fluid
Your belly might look smaller. i wound up with low fluid with my son. i saw my mom who is a midwife on a Sunday and she said "Wow you look smaller" I told her it was just the shirt. The next day i felt junky and in Tuesday I went to the hospital with a sharp pain high in my belly. they did a sono and found ot I had low fluid. 3.2 to b exact. I was admitted and cervidiled 3 times and delivered hi on Friday.
Till this day my mom is still upset that he played the grandma role that night and not the midwife role.
You can check your bely size with a tape measure and of course check your underwear or panty liner for excessive wetness.

Re: Amniotic Fluid
baby's movement can be related- if you have low fluid then baby will not move as much

but this is true for high fluid as well.
