Has anyone ever been to Amsterdam? How was your experience? Where did you stay?

I visited there a few years ago and I loved it! There is so much to do. There's a square (can't remember the name) that's like an outdoor food court from a mall (but with alcohol and real food). You get whatever you want to eat and drink, and choose any table you want. And there are street performers everywhere to entertain you while you eat. There's also casinos, historical things to see, boat rides on the canals, good food, the red light district - just so much to see and do. I'll see if I can find the name of the hotel - it was nice, clean, not too expensive and within walking distance of a lot of things.
