An annoying DVD rental issue at library.... Not sure where to post, or if anyone can answer this...

I don't have showtime, and always wanted to watch Dexter. I recently discovered my library carries tv shows as well as movies (I never looked at the other rows )

So, I was excited to start watching the show. It's on a series of discs. I just finished season 2, but with season 1 and 2 so far, I notice every episode is available... Except for the season finales!!!

So, each season is broken up into 3 discs, with 3-4 episodes per disc. But the 3rd disc goes up to the second to last episode.

WHY???

I had to friggen purchase the season finales on iTunes. I know they are only 3 bucks, but at the rate I am going, the show is going to cost me about 15 dollars at least!!! This is why I go to the library!!!

Can anyone offer any insight into why this is happening???

Call the library and ask, that is really strange! Maybe they don't realize the final disc has an episode on it and is not just bonus features or "extras".

We just got the latest season from our library- and they let us take out the entire boxed set- the final episode was on the last disc...
