An appendicitis hurts 1000 times more then a c-section. I should know just got home from hospital
My entire life I've never had surgery and now within 6 weeks I've had 2. We are home and I am just resting. Morphine is entirely overrated and did absolutely NOTHING for me in the hospital to relieve pain. On the positive note I cant do any house keeping or drive for 3 weeks. So we are home and I am resting. I am so achy. C-section was a walk in the park compared to having your appendix removed.

I agree with you 100% I had my appendix removed in 2003 and I was terrified of having a c-section as a result. I was so relieved when the c turned out to be so not a big deal!

my sister's apendix burst when she was pregnant with the twins. Talk about a scary operation!!

Aww I am so sorry! Feel better soon!
I had a C Section last January and ended up having gall bladder surgery last June (thank goodness it was lap. surgery).
Never had surgery and had 2 within a few months.
I am so sorry yours happened so close together

You are not joking!
I remember having my appendix taken out, and I was a mess for weeks holding my stomach!
The c/s was a BREEZE compared to the appendectomy!

Good to know about the C-section... never had one of those but my appendix ruptured and I had the full surgery in 2003

Thanks everyone. Right now I cant do too much with the baby. I am so glad he is such a good baby and doesnt fuss.

I had my appendix out in 1998 and it was MURDER compared to the C/S. I'd do the c/s again in a minute.
