anatomy scan today and SO NERVOUS - UPDATE

i just feel so WORRIED in between appointments. its like, i wont allow myself to get excited about finding out about the sex until i know that everything is ok. what is the anatomy scan like? what kinds of things are they looking for exactly??

**guys it was amazing!! to see all the parts like the chambers of the heart, spine, bladder and even nasal cavity...just wow. and the best part? baby is healthy and strong and thankfully my worries were unfounded.

The anatomy scan was one of the best appts ever.
U get to see the baby in such detail. the feet and the hands and the arms and legs and head and belly. I really enjoyed mine.

I think it helped that my babies were very cooperative but regardless it was awesome to see every part of them.

I just had mine on Tuesday. it was an external sono and super cool. You get to see the bones….they measure the heart, spine, thigh bones, arm bones. She showed us the kidneys, bladder, stomach, brain. Measured the head. Saw the baby’s face head on. She flipped a switch that showed us blood flow through the body. Saw hands and feet. Don’t be nervous…very cool appointment

dont worry though. all will be fine and once you see the LO on the screen, all that anxiety will fly out the window!!

the scan was fine. we got to see all different angles of the baby and all different organs and stuff. it was fun. it's a good appt!!!

we didn't get the baby's face head on. she kept turning her head the other way!! haha!
