I can't believe Volver didn't get nominated for best foreigh language film. Chat Icon

I also don't get why Meryl Streep was nominated for the Devil Wear Prada. Yeah- it was good entertaining film. But come one- not exactly an Oscary worthy performance IMO.

I kind of agree, everyone has been raving about her in it, but to me it wasn't really that stand out

I am actually not surprised at all. the film in itself is def not Oscar caliber, but her performance was outstanding!
