Andrew's Birth Story
Well, it isnt a very long one... wednesday 1/6 i spent the day running errands... when i got home i was uncomfortable but i thought it was because i pushed myself too much... when dh was going to work i was tempted to ask him to stay home just because i was having breathing issues and with ds i was afraid i wouldnt be able to tend to him but i opted to let him go to work until he was about to get on the train and i told him to come home... the whole night i actually progressively felt better so i figured it really was that i pushed myself too much... thursday morning 1/7 i had my 37 week appointment at 11am.. i was still out of breath every 5 mintes but otherwise felt fine... my ob went to do an internal, finishes and tells me that i have to immediately go to the hospital because i am atleast 5 cm dialated and that if i dont go to the hospital i may deliver this baby on the southern state... i went home, got my ds settled with my sil and dh and i left for good sam... they checked me in at 130pm and checked me.. i was 6 cm dialated.. they then broke my water and got my epi in place... an hour later they checked me again and i was 7cm..... really i still wasnt in alot of pain and was honestly in denial that i was in labor... at 330 (2 hours after getting there) the doctor came in to check and told me i was ready to push.. i pushed a total of 4 times (they actually had to tell me to stop pushing until the doctor got into the room) and with the 4th push ds was born.... i had one stitch and that was it...
so after an easy quick delivery Andrew Michael was born at 357pm. he was 7lbs 14oz and 21 inches.... he is a really good baby.... and i still cant believe he is here already

thank you everyone... the whole labor and delivery process was so quick and easy that i think it took me a good 5 hours post partum for it really to kick in....
