Andy Kaplan acupuncture- my RAVE
So - as I posted about already, my retrieval this cycle is tomorrow, and I only stimmed for 7 days. I've been seeing Andy Kaplan for acupuncture for a couple of months now and have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about him. I haven't gone through my retreival yet, so we'll see if the acupuncture helped tomorrow, but he is just such a kind and caring person.
I texted him yesterday to let him know that my retreival was moved up to tomorrow - and he totally met up with me at 8:30pm on LABOR DAY to do a session. He met me in his wife's office which was closer to home (his wife is also an acupunturist, haha). I just kept thanking him and all he said was that this is an important thing and he really wants to see it all the way through.
If anyone is looking for an acupunturist, I can't recommend him enough. He really cares about his patients and it shows in how he handles himself and how he treats people.

I can't say enough kind words about him!! I love him too. I met him at his wife's office once when his office was being redone. He is great!!

That's awesome! I have been thinking about going to him. I had been going to Dr. Jim Vitale in Huntington, after I won 4 sessions. I really like him, but it's very inconvenient. I'm wondering if I should start seeing Andy Kaplan since everyone raves about him and I'll be starting stims soon.
If one of his patients doesn't mind, could you FM me and let me know what he charges per session? I know my insurance doesn't cover acupuncture, and we're already paying for IVF OOP.

Maybe I'm just super emotional from the hormones LOL, but I was sincerely moved that he was willing to come out that late on a holiday.
He deserves all the business and praise that he gets on here.

Andy truly is a kind, caring man. I saw him this morning before my transfer and have been going to him since February. I highly recommend him to anyone considering acupuncture in Nassau!!
He is also recommended from Dr.B's office!! Since he sees so many infertility patients, he has a cork board full of birth announcements. I can't wait to get mine up there soon, hopefully!!

I totally agree! I have had transfers on days he was off and he always made sure to see me. He is an exceptional guy. I have been seeing him for over a year. Not only did I see him throughout my IVF cycles, but I am continuing to see him now that I am pregnant.

Unfortunately GHI does not cover acupuncture - at least my plan doesn't. I found him to be worth every penny!

Can someone kindly FM me the info as well? TIA I live in Smithtown so traveling to RVC will be really hard, but I've heard from so many people how wonderful Andy Kaplan is so I feel like if I'm going to spend the money i might as well go to the person most recommended. <If anyone loves another acupuncturist in Suffolk please share the info too :) >
