anemic and pregnancy
Hi. I am just about 32 weeks. I found out a few weeks ago I have to take added iron becuase I am anemic - is this something to be concerned about - I forgot to ask my doctor, thank you - Shari

I've been anemic all my life. When they took my blood during my pregnancy, they told me again that I was anemic...I was like...tell me something I don't know. They gave me iron pills and I took them for about a week. I couldn't go to the bathroom at all, so I decided to stop taking them. Nothing ever happened to Jared because of that.

I just start taking them. Cromagen Forte at 30 bucks a month(my coverage didn't consider them a "primary drug"). I decided to take them every other day. So far it's been a week and no constipation, but I take Colace every other day as well.....

I was anemic during my pregnancy also. I took Slow FE, didn't have any side effects and everything was fine.

Me too. My headaches were worse when I didnt take it too.

I became anemic too around 26 weeks. I took my iron pills and had to take fiber too

Same here for me. I didn't have any problems at all with the Slow FE. And once I gave birth I was no longer anemic.
