Re: angelcare moms...

It means that it did not detect movement and if it doesn't detect movement for another two seconds (I think it's two) then the alarm will sound. Sometimes that little tic is just enough noise to make Jesse move a little so it will detect him. It's like a warning to the alarm.

Re: angelcare moms...

What do you mean by consistent? There is a feature that you can set for it to tic with every movement (the switch is on the back). Maybe when you were turning it on and off the switch was moved accidentally?

Re: angelcare moms...

I haven't had that problem. What did happen a few times is that it would tic, Jesse would move a little so it would stop, and 20 seconds later it would tic again, he'd move, it would stop, etc. When we moved Jesse that would stop (he was too far away from the sensor pad). Other than that, no consistent ticking. Just check the switches again to make sure it's set properly and check his position in the crib. If those are okay, then maybe it's defective.

Re: angelcare moms...

It would tic once, then stop for a few seconds, then tic again, then stop - this would continue until we moved him.
