Angelcare Movement Sensor Question
Do you need to get a regular monitor if you get the Angelcare? I don't plan on using a regular monitor in the house much (small house), except if we're watching a movie downstairs or are outside this summer. Do we need a regular monitor in addition to the Angelcare?
The Angelcare's description says "alarm sounds only if absolutely no movement is detected for 20 seconds. Sound monitor picks up alarm and all other nursery sounds." So, would that make a regular monitor unnecessary?
Also, if you are getting the Angelcare and are having the baby in a bassinette in your bedroom for the first few months, you're going to set up the Angelcare in your room then, right? You're not going to wait until baby moves into his/her own room, right? Image Attachment(s):

Re: Angelcare Movement Sensor Question
ITs a regular sound monitor as well yes.....
We got it and we plan to use it in the bassinet at first and then switch to the crib when the baby does.

Re: Angelcare Movement Sensor Question
I have this and I loved it. I used it in the bassinet and when we moved her into her crib. But she started rolling off and it would keep going off. I sat on the phone with the company trying to fix the sensitivity and it still was going off. They told me mine was broken. I bought a new one and it still went off. My DD sleeps VERY still so when she would roll off it couldn't sense her. So if the alarm goes off don't freak out.
