Angel's Gate Animal Hospice in Fort Salonga- As Seen on Oprah!
Just wanted to share their site...it's nice to know we have something so caring & beautiful right here in our area.
Check it out: Angel's Gate
From their site: "Welcome to Angel's Gate, a residential, non-profit, 501 (C) 3 home, our home, for special needs animals. Here, animals many of whom are terminally and / or critically ill or physically challenged, come to live out their days in peace, dignity and love. Our focus is on wellness and quality of life. We provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each animal. We take a holistic approach in animal care, giving all needed supportive services including hospice care."

Nope
I followed this case closely. She won the right to remain open and functioning.
I have donated to her, and I think her cause is a very worthy one. She does great things for the sick and dying animals.

Yeah, I asked my hubby after I posted. I just remembered the part about possibly relocating upstate during all the crap from neighbors.

Yes, that did happen but she did win the right to remain open. What an amazing woman IMO!

I have had her site bookmarked forever!!!! Thank you for the update. It was a great piece on Oprah. Of course, the dachshund that needed intensive care almost broke my heart.
