Angry Birds Space: A vent and warning!!! Dont buy it!
So, the worst thing I have in my life to vent about right now is:
Angry Birds Space.
It just came out. I bought it. Was excited. I even saw that there were, something like, 6-7 levels.
Awesome.
So I play the game just to solve. I dont really care about the stars, I just WANT to see whats next. As long as I solve it, great.
So.
I solve the first three levels, plus the one level bonus. Then I go to the next. They give you the first level free.
THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER .99 TO OPEN UP THE 30 GAMES ON LEVEL 4.
Why not just charge 2 bucks?
So be warned!!!!

I have a 5 year old who is so obsessed with this game, for the extra 99 cents, it's worth it so I can take a shower in peace in the morning 
Plus, I have to say, this is my favorite angry birds yet!!!

Am I missing something because I never pay for my Angry Birds downloads?
I guess I have a free version?
What is the difference?

The Angry birds Rio (and some others) are free.
This is the BRAND NW version of Angry Birds.
And to the PP, I SO get the .99 is worth it!!! Im just PISSED that you buy the game and then they make you BUY IT AGAIN!

i can't speak for other carriers, but DH & I have Verizon and we got a notification that Angry Birds: Space came out about 2 months ago and we downloaded it then. I have since passed all of the levels on every board and never had to pay or was prompted to pay to open up other levels.
Not sure if this is something new now that the game has been out for a few months or if your being charged by your provider for the app.
I know you have to pay for it automatically just to download on the iPhone

I play space for free.
But I dont see an issue with $2 only because I'm old school. I spent WAY more than $2 in an arcade for less total time spent on a game!
ETA: I'm on Tmobile. We get updates and that usually opens up more levels. We have ads and the newer version is a little annoying because the ads open totally up and you have to close out to go back to the game but its just like a second so meh. Its free :) I do feel stupid tho, not paying the whopping $2 haha but hey, what can I say? I'm cheap.

Yes DH downloaded Angry Birds Space on his Droid for Free. We have Verizon.
I am sure there are ads and stuff, but he definitely didn't pay for it.

oh I get it! I was annoyed too.... but I justified it by telling myself I have spent more than 99 cents to entertain this kid!
