At first I thought there was no way she would leave her chlid, look how devoted to her son.
The story does sound believable. If he has $10K bank deposits from her, I would say it's very likely.

According to the accounts of the father of this child, Anna was a rather racist person. She made racist comments to the man regarding his Native American culture. The article mentioned, that according to Anna, it was forbidden for whites to have relations with non-whites. She said that the child's father was her first non-white lover. That being the case, I can certainly see how SHE would rationalize NOT publicly acknowledging that this child is hers. I guess she thought she would be shunned by her southern community. Personally, I think it is wrong. A child is a child and deserves better than that.

If she was trying to hide this 'new' child, then it would make sense in her will where she specifies only Daniel as a child to get money. Unlike most wills where they just say 'to the children'. I thought it was a little odd she specifically didnt say that but named Daniel specifically.
