Anniversary---Eating the Cake
We ate our cake last weekend when we were in NY...or shall I say, we tried too..
It just tasted so disgusting! And I cannot really compare it as I did not eat cake on the day of my wedding...
I hope it did not taste that gross on the Wedding day!!

Our cake was so gross. I had dh try first and he said it wasn't good, so I passed. Sorry your cake was bad. I had mine the day of my wedding and it was delicious. I think we just wrapped our cake wrong in the freezer. I am sure your cake was delicious too.

That's the reason why we broke with traitiona and had our cake on our first MONTH anniversary! Plus it was taing up too much valuable space in the freezer.

Ours gross too!! DH couldn't believe I made him taste it considering he won't go near the milk if it's the day before it's supposed to expire!

Ours got moldy. We left it at my moms and their freezer broke.  But we only had a couple slices wrapped- the top of our cake was huge and the whole thing was left after the wedding. It seemed a waste to freeze the whole thing, so we split it up among my folks and DH and I took the rest home. It was SO good and now I am especially glad we did not freeze the whole top.

We got to eat fresh cake! Our baker gives you a free cake on your wedding anniversary and replicates the one on your wedding day. That way its still the "same" but not gross!

ours was good-not as good as the day though
but i forgot that it had strawberries in it - and wasn't expecting the taste and made a strange face, so dh refused to have any

Ours was delicious on our wedding day but when we when took a bite of it on our 1st anniversary, it tasted so nasty!!!
