anniversary question...not year related
if your anni falls midweek, do you celebrate the weekend before, weekend after, just do something day of, or
some sort of cominations of the above

weekend after - dinner out / night out without DD. 
day of - presents, we order in sushi and have some wine once DD is in bed. oh yeah...and some nookie.

Based on last year and what we'll do this year, I'd say weekend after. Last year we went to Ocean City, and this year we may go to Virginia Beach for the weekend. But since our anniversary is 6/17, I like going a week or two later when it's warmer for the beach.

We''ll celebrate w/din-din on the day of...and then if we decide to do something "bigger" we'll celebrate the weekend after.

It depends what's going on...our anniversary is around Thanksgiving, so it depends when it falls. If it's during the week, I will always make him a special dinner at home, but then on the closest weekend we are available, we go out.

This year our anniversary was a Monday, we celebrated the Saturday before but did have some cake the night of.
If it falls midweek, we will most likely celebrate that coming weekend.

The day of, because we don't do anything "big" like a weekend away or anything. We usually have a romantic dinner out, which you can do any night of the week.
For a major anniversary (10 years maybe?) if we made more time-consuming plans, we might celebrate the weekend before or after.

Our first 2 anniversaries we actually had weddings to go to, but last year, we wanted to go LI for dinner where our reception was, so since we are in Westchester , we had to go on the weekend before. The day of, it seemed silly to do the usual, so we went to a local restaurant.

Hard to say. We're approaching our 2nd anniversary in June, so I don't have much to compare it to.
Last year we went to the riviera maya for a week, this year we're heading to California. So in a sense, we celebrate our anniversary for an entire week.
However, that will not become an every-year thing, that's for sure!

Our 4 year anniversary is tomorrow. We are celebrating it tomorrow. We always celebrate it the day of. We are having Emma sleep at my parents and we are going our for a nice dinner.

Same here. Our anniversary was on a Tuesday so we went out to dinner and then celebrated at home later on.

We can't celebrate during the week bc of our different schedules. Last year we celebrated with family (mom had us over for dinner) the weekend before, and then we celebrated together alone the weekend after.
