Annoyed with BRU
I just have to vent about how annoyed with BRU and my registry I am right now.
I registered quite some time ago, and for a few months I've tweaked my registry online. Listened to advice from people on here, friends, and read reviews, and so some of my items I changed for others that were similar but I hoped better. Some things I deleted completley because I felt they were unnecessary and I wanted people to buy me things we'd really need.
So my shower is coming up this weekend. I'm not supposed to know it's this weekend but I know. So anyway, my sister calls me up this morning to say she was at the store last night and my registry seemed really messed up. I had two travel systems, and things she thought I had taken off a long time ago. She's expecting also so we've discussed a lot of the changes I've made.
So I went online this morning and everything looked fine to me. Then I went to BRU tonight and printed out my registry,and lemme tell you, it was ALL MESSED UP. Things I had changed MONTHS ago were not ever changed. Things I deleted months ago were still on there, some of them purchased for me already since it's crunch time and my shower is only a few days away.
I was so annoyed. I talked to them about it at the registry desk and the lady was so nice. She explained that they have had a lot of problems similar to mine with people who change things on the website because of problems with amazon.com. She helped me to go page by page and delete anything off of there that I didn't want, and then I went back through the store and re-scanned the things I had changed for and added on online.
So just some advice, you might want to check your registry at the store once in a while. I thought mine was all fine and it turns out it was so messed up. Luckily the things I had deleted that people bought us were just little things, thankfully it wasn't something big like a carseat that I changed my mind on. I'm really glad that I took the time to go down there and straighten things out tonight. Hopefully none of you will have that problem also.

Sorry you're having so many problems with them. It seems to be all around.... My BF told me she registered more than a week ago and I still can't pull up her registry online.

Amazon is horrible!!!!!!!!!! I had some problems a few weeks ago with them too...

BRU is terrible with the registries. The carseat I registered for was recalled and BRU never notified me and when I questioned them they said they have my name on a list for someone to call..they were lying. The glider I purchased was also recalled and no notification there either. Only when I printed the registry and noticed it read in small print recalled did I question it. I thought I gave them my email and phone number for issues such a these.
