Annoyed...BBB would not take my non-expired BedBath coupons for furniture purchase...but they did on other furniture item a few weeks back...

I just did a search and read several people posting that Buy Buy Baby will NOT take the Bed Bath non-expired coupons on furniture purchases. However...I was there a few weeks back buying the crib and mattress...they accepted the BedBath coupon for the cirb - that's furniture to me. Went in yesterday with MIL who is purchasing our dresser/hutch and they wouldn't take the non-expired BedBath b/c it's furniture. I had my receipt from previous crib purchase...showed them that they did accept it for that. Sales girl called over the manager and he was rude...didn't care if someone took the coupon prior - said they do not accept them for furniture.

Anyone else able to use them for furniture? Should I try a different store and hope to get someone who will take them? The Buy Buy Baby 20% off coupons are hard to find...I see some on Ebay but sounds iffy if I'll be able to use them. They aren't expired but they all seem to come from those Entertainment books and has a particular store location on the back...so it's iffy if my BBB will take them.

Anyone have a solution for me? I do have the BBB $50 of a $250 furniture purchase...but I'm buying 2 items and the 20% off is such a better deal.

Sorry so long...just annoyed since they took the coupons on a different day/different sales girl....

The one in Westbury wouldn't take my Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons for furniture either, we ordered our furniture the beginning of February. I ended up buying a few coupons on eBay for about $10 each and didn't have a problem using them, but they weren't the ones from the Entertainment Book....I would be wary of the ones from the Entertainment Book also, I thought you had to present your membership card along with any coupons you use.

Will they accept expired Buy Buy Baby coupons? I am pretty sure I have an expired 20% off we ended up not using that I can send you if they do.

I would def try a diff bbb or maybe even a diff day & cashier.
also do you need to get the dresser there? is that the only place that sells it? maybe you can try doing a search to find out if you can get it anywhere else for cheaper.

Everyone I've dealt with at BBB has told me they don't take the Bed Bath coupons for furniture. It sounds like the person you dealt with last time may have did it correctly.

You can apply BBB coupons on furniture afer it is ordered, up until you receive delivery of the furniture - which is what I did. We got 20% off all of our furniture (10% off our glider and ottoman because it was Dutaillier).

Thanks so much girls for all the responses...I will try all suggestions. I was just super irritated b/c I live in CT and have no BBB near me...furniture is priced best there. So I made a trip out to LI just to purchase and being they took the BedBath coupons for the crib I was just annoyed they wouldn't take them again for dresser/hutch...like I made a trip out there for nothing!
