Annoying Co-worker

What do you usually do when a co-worker is annoying the crap out of you?

I usually ignore them, or go to another section of the office

Re: Annoying Co-worker

Since it is VERY HARD for me to bite my tongue and NOT say something... I try my very best to do the avoid/ignore thing like some others have said.. or act too busy to notice, etc.... hence the reason I ignore all my co-workers bc they are ALL ANNOYING Chat Icon

Re: Annoying Co-worker

I try to walk away from them for a bit - get coffee, use the bathroom, get a snack - so I can cool down and go back to work.

ETA: yeah I pretend to be busy too - or on the phone.

Keep my classroom door closed and sit at my desk with my head down low into a pile of papers and grade. The teacher next door to me kept talking to me on my free periods this year. I would just ignore him and pretty much keep working.

Re: Annoying Co-worker

I avoid eye-contact. I just stare at my monitor, and answer with yes & no answers, until they go away. It normally works.

Re: Annoying Co-worker

I have a co-worker that insists to sing to every song on the radio...needless to say she is not a good singer...it's quite annoying.

Re: Annoying Co-worker

either: get very quiet

joke with them that I'm busy

or, flat out say, " I really have to get this finished before my next appointment"

It's usually directed at ONE person...she wastes A LOT of time at work. Not that I mind, except that we have the freedom to make our own schedules, so I'm very motivated to finish up as soon as possible
