Anothe Car seat Question from the city idiot!

Okay, so I don't drive! But, do both car seats have to be located by the doors? Or can you place them next to each other when installing the bases?

I ask because we just bought a car and am taking the two kids and my mother shopping this weekend and I can't see my mom squished between the two little ones!

Thanks!

If you can fit them next to each other I don't see why not. Just know that when they get older they will be hitting each other and grabbing things out of each other's car seat. Chat Icon

ours didnt fit next to each other and we have a Trailblazer.
Plus I think having them on each side is much easier getting them in and out of the car, especially when they get older.

We have a Camry.

Both seats have always been by the doors.

There's no room for anyone else to be back there and if the stroller is in the trunk (duoglider) I can fit very little else unless it's stuffed behind the stroller.

For now we can't transport another adult.

I do all of my larger errands by myself at night or take DH's car (no seats). If IL's are coming with us someplace they must take their own car.
