Another 1st Birthday Party question....
Now DH said he doesnt want to do anything too big, not that we were.
We were going to have immediate family and close friends with kids, only about 10 or so.
Now DH doesnt want any friends and wants to make it very simple.
I still want to do the Backyardigans theme.
My question is, how many had kids at your Dc's 1st Birthday?? Or should we skip it??

We had 4 kids at Andrews B-day party and I still did a theme, etc.

We only had Dh's cousins kids there- 3 in total-10, 9 & 6 years old.
Next year will be different though since lots of our friends had babies this year after DD's birthday.
ETA: I still did a theme-his cousins are all girls..I did pink/purple with daisys & butterflys.

I would still do a theme regardless of how many kids are coming because you are doing it for your sons.

I'm having a large party, but if I were you, I'd still have the theme. It's really a party for the baby, so you want to keep that in mind. =O)

I will have about 15 kids (all cousins and friends) ranging in age from a few months to 11 years old...I don't have a theme

We will have 25 kids at DS's birthday party.....
If there was only going to be 1 kid at DS's party, I would still do a theme!!

We had kids but I was involved in a playgroup with my friends and most of them have two kids. It was probably more fun for them than Miranda at that age. I think this year at 2 she will get more out of having kids there.

Just our nieces and nephews and very close friends' kids. Maybe 6 or 7 kids other than ours. I still did a theme anyway. That's the fun part!

We had about 10 kids, but those were my friends kid's and family's kids. We had about 50 people total though.

For my older son, there were hardly any kids since my friends didn't have children yet and there aren't any children in my family. We MAYBE had 6 kids. (Still had a theme- Sesame Street)
For my 2nd son's bday, I had all my friends kids' and my older son's friends. I had about 27 kids at that one. 
(Theme- Luau)

For DS's upcoming 1st Birthday we are having around 8 kids and we are having balloon-animal person, cotton candy and a popcorn stand (for adults too) and we are having a theme!

We had 16 kids...technically it was 19 but I am not counting the older ones so really it was 16.
We did a Winnie the Pooh theme
