Another 1st month off the pill question
I am not charting or anything, just kind of "wait and see" for right now. I finished my last pack of pills on Friday, 10/7, got AF on Monday, 10/10 (like normal). When I was on the pill, I would get AF on the Monday after I finished my pack around noon time. I was due for AF again last Monday, 11/7. She didn't show but I got a BFN when I POAS (I used a digital so there was no mistaking the results) that night. She finally showed on Thursday, 11/10 but was more like Aunt trickle than aunt flow. Has this happened to anyone? Before going on the pill, about 100 years ago, I had horrible periods. Between the cramps and the flow itself I was barely able to get out of bed. I was a little crampy last weekend, but it wasn't horrible. More like I was getting the flu rather than actual cramps. I was EXTREMELY moody (I get pretty bad PMS) so I knew she was coming eventually.

Re: Another 1st month off the pill question
Its completly normal. You will see that your schedule and your period will be "off" for a few months. It takes a bit of time for the hormones in the pill to get completly out of your system and then it takes a bit for your body to re-adjust to the lack of those hormones. HTH

Re: Another 1st month off the pill question
I just came off the pill too. And even though AF was pretty timely, my first day was very light and I was crampy before hand. I also used to have heavy flow and bad cram0ps before the pill, but so far so good. Even though I had slight cramps before AF, which is fairly unusual for me, I haven't had cramps with AF. I think you just need to give your body a little time to adjust. It's used to having all of these hormones pumped into it, so it only makes sense that your body will do a couple of weird things at first.

Would that explain the constant cramps that I've had since going off about 1 month ago? they seem to be everyday :(

Re: Another 1st month off the pill question
I had cramps for a good week or so before AF came.
