Another airport Q - anyone familiar with parking at LGA?
if we're flying on AirTran, where is the long term parking? is the garage close to that terminal?

there is long term all over. We use the CourtYard by Marroit which is off premise parking. They have shuttles that run back and forth. It is considerably cheaper then parking at the airport.

Park in the garage for 3 days max, park in the lots for longer. AirTran is in Central Terminal B so when you enter from Grand Central West Bound, go to the second lot. The first outside lot is a trek.

I parked in the lot next to the garage - it was C I think or 3- just follow the signs for long term parking- it was $65 from 7pm friday to 12am monday

I just looked up the parking there and lot #3 is $30 for 48 hrs... I'm gonna try to park there first.

thats cause they charge $5 for 8-hour period or part thereafter

thats cause they charge $5 for 8-hour period or part thereafter
48 hours would have been friday at 7pm to sunday at 7pm
then $5 more from sunday at 7pm to monday at 12am ( really sunday night)
I guess when I get my easy pass bill I can call them

if you are facing the airport it was to the right of the garage

oh, I thought you said 12pm Monday... yea, they should have only charged you $38 if you were there until Midnight on Sunday 
and actually, even if you were there till 12pm on Monday, it should have only cost you $54
