Another appliance question

Do you think its important to have a matching suite of appliances if you are not going with the really high end stuff (sub zero, wolf etc.?) In other words would you prefer all GE or all Kenmore.

I know a few people that went with the higher end range and hood and bought a lower end Refrigerator, Dishwasher... Then a couple years later when they had some money saved upgraded their Refrigerator and then their Dishwasher. Now they have a high end kitchen...

Re: Another appliance question

It's not important, IMO. We have a GE fridge, Maytag microwave and dishwasher and KitchenAid range.

I really don't think it matters. We happened to pick the same brand for our stove, fridge, and dishwasher because we liked the GE Profile. Our microwave is a KitchenAid.

Re: Another appliance question

Ours are different brands but they're all stainless steel, so nobody knows.... I don't think it matters.

Re: Another appliance question

I don't think it matters as long as they all match in style/color (stainless, etc.).

Re: Another appliance question

We went with a 36"wolf range and wolf hood. We were thinking of the sub-zero fridge but all the reviews have not been good lately so we went with the GE cafe series fridge, and dishwasher. They have "square" handles so they will look nice together.

From my research, it is sometimes not the best choice to go with all the same brand. Just because they make one really good item does not mean the others are as good.
