Another Car Seat Question - My Ride 65 vs Nautilus
Well I am pretty sure that after our Dr visit tomorrow its going to be time to retire our Roundabout.
DS is 2 yo and I am guessing 40lbs, 38 inches give or take.
So I need to upgrade...I am very interested in the Nautilus but I am afraid it wont be comfy if he falls asleep. So I was thinking the My Ride 65 but I do like the 3-1 capability of the Nautilus....
So basically, any suggestions, pros/cons etc would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!

Wow, he's a big boy! Since your child's already 40lbs, I'd go with the nautilus.
The MyRide is a great seat, but it's main benefit is that it rear faces to 40 lbs, then forward face harnesses to 65lbs.
The Nautilus has a bit higher harness slots and also harnesses to 65lbs but turns into a booster as well. I haven't heard of any kids having issues in the Nauti if they fall asleep. Kids are weird creatures anyways, positions that look uncomfy to us seem to be fine by them!
THey're both pretty easy to install and use, and priced pretty similarly.
If your child is 40lbs he is outgrown of the Roundabout and you should discontinue using it. Weight limits on seats are absolute.

Re: Another Car Seat Question - My Ride 65 vs Nautilus
Yeah he is a big boy...hes the size of most 3 year old and he just turned 2. As his ped said at 18 months...most kids have a growth spurt here or there DS has been on an 18 month growth spurt
I know about hte seat weight limits which is why I am going to get a new seat. I would never knowingly use it past its limitations.
I was leaning towards the Nautilus anyway....so we will see....
Thanks for your input
