Another Celebrity Marriage Kaput?
Jamie Lynn DiScala and her husband? I heard it on WB11 this morning ... haven't seen anything on the web yet though

Tori Spelling too- she got married a few weeks before I did. Amazing.... I don't understand why these people spend so much money on their weddings- statiscally speaking, most of them just don't last more than a few years.

I heard about this a few days ago. When she was asked were he was her response was "he's on business"
She was out partying and having a blast and no wedding ring on her finger.
I too just dont get it these celebs spend millions on their weddings and it's over in less then a year.

cheating
beating
You know what I mean? for me to leave it would have to be one of the 3. Do you think the same holds true for them? Or are they just insane?

That would really **** though... I really liked them as a couple. Their love seemed genuine on the In Style - Celebrity Weddings show that aired last year.

Honestly I think celebs break up because they jump into it all so fast.
Now if me and DH were celebs, we would have money so our wedding would have happened YEARS ago because we just were waiting until we saved enough money.
But what if we didnt know each other that well? We would have jumped right into marriage and who knows if we even liked each other.
I dont know if I am making sense but in my head it makes sense.

I think the marriages fall apart so quickly because they have different lifestyles and expectations than non-celebrities. Imagine you are used to people kissing your a$$ all the time, getting you whatever you want- having personal assistants to go to the store for you and arrange everything for you. Its very easy to get spoiled by that- and then you may start to expect that sort of treatment (being waited on) by your spouse. Now who do you knwo wants to wait on their spouse like that????
I also think that a lot of it may come from jealously as well- its hard to see our spouse always in the spotlight- and you aren't. Rarely are 2 people equal levels of success. Usually one rises, and the other falls (look at Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale- she started opening up for his band- who has heard from him lately)?

I think that stars marriages are like their lives...a fictional character they play...
It's probably so hard to find someone that you think is an honest true person in that lifestyle that when you have a good night with someone you figure...hey? what the hell...let's get hitched!
It's sad.

Here's the story via the Post:
September 20, 2005 -- JAMIE Lynn Discala may soon be changing her name back to Jamie Lynn Sigler. The "Sopranos" star told pals she left her hubby/manager, A.J. Discala, a month ago — about when she took off her wedding ring. Two separate witnesses link Jamie Lynn to New York club promoter Keith Collins, who threw a joint birthday party Thursday at Quo with former Village Person Randy Jones. One witness says: "She was heavily making out with Keith in one of the bathrooms. They were all over each other, and then before they walked out of the bathroom, she said make sure not to tell anyone that she and A.J. have split." Another witness says: "She seemed to be quite taken with [Collins] and hung out with him until the wee hours." Collins said: "Jamie Lynn is a good friend of mine, but I am not commenting right now. She is a sweet girl. It was a good time." Jamie Lynn, for her part, didn't remember who Collins was on our first call and then had her rep call back to say: "She did go to a party with two friends and gave this guy a hug in front of everyone. That is it. She doesn't know him." As for Jamie Lynn's marriage, the rep declined comment.

Yup, I saw this too. They showed a pic of her without her ring and they said she was dancing with every guy in sight.

I for one know what it is like for a marriage to break up after a year- less than a year for me. Everyone is different and everyone has their own breaking point. I know many people, unfortunately that have had their marriages end in a short time span.

I remember reading somewhere that she has been treated for a lot of emotional/psychological problems. I don't remember the specifics, but I remember that I was surprised that she was so candid. Marriage is tough as it is, take Hollywood and her other issues and maybe it just wansn't meant to work.

He's got a new band now. Something called "The Institute", I think? They're playing it on the radio around here. I like the new song, DH doesn't.
Not like this is overly pressing, I just thought I'd mention it since you asked who'd heard from him lately.
