Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
I was going to post this question on TTC, but I figured since the majority of posters here are now PG, this would be a better place. I actually DID do a search before asking, but did not find the answers I was looking for.
I would like to know, if you are able to remember (or if you were consciously checking/temping/charting symptoms)how many of you had EWCM during the cycle when you got PG.
I suppose since I have been having difficulty conceiving, I check everything, but I cannot imagine that every woman who has conceived had stretchy EWCM. I don't seem to have it, so i am trying to figure out if I am naturally that way, or if it is a by-product of my cervical stenosis.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
Leslie- I swear by using Mucinex/Robitussin. My dr. recommended it. I had "wet" CM, but nothing stretchy. The month I got my BFP, I used Mucinex and had LOTS of EWCM.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
The cycle we conceived, I distinctly remember NOT having EWCM (because I didn't even think I ovulated in the first place). I used both Mucinex and Preseed however.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
I always had CM during my ovulation time. I could never tell the difference between CM and EWCM. When I started to read about it on TTC board..... it drove me crazy. So I gave up on looking for it. I had CM. That's all that mattered! Whatever it was a good thing or not.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
I never charted or checked my CM but I clearly remember having elevated temperature right after I ovulated and was obviously preggo...check your temps.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
Leslie, I had absolutely nothing! We did use preseed b/c I was so concerned about my lack of EWCM, so maybe that did help, but naturally my body did not seem to produce it.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
I've always had it but at least 2 days before I O We always BD'ed on the day I had it plus day of positive and a couple of days after. I have gotten pregnant very easily.
I was on Clomid and that dries up CM so we used preseed-the lube not the internal stuff and it works great! I highly recommend it. Like AP said Mucinex I have heard of but not used it. Also lots of water and baby carrots are supposed to help.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
I remember having more CM in my non-pregnant months. In fact, I seemed to have more symptoms when I wasn't PG. But then it picked up in the first trimester.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
Thanks so much for your input. I keep looking for something that may never be there the way I expect it to be. Just wanted to make sure that what I was experiencing (or not experiencing) wasn't unusual.

Re: Another CM question for the pregnant ladies...
I don't recall the consistency, but before the BFP I noticed there was an increase in the amount (for all 3 PG/2 babies).
