Another day at home with Cailen
He seems so lethargic and icky. He doesn't have fever, but he slept late (which is very unusual for him) and his nose is pouring!!! He doesn't want to play or anything - just veg on the couch.
He did touch his ear when I asked him does he have an "ow" somewhere... I think he has an ear infection - but could that make him so lethargic?
His cheeks don't look red anymore....

Not sure if ear infections make kids lethargic, but if he didn't sleep well b/c of the pain that might be part of it.
Hope he bounces back soon!

Re: Another day at home with Cailen
I am convinced I am clueless when it comes to recognizing ear infections. DS has one now and he had the following:
drooling, coughing, fever on and off, runny nose, pulling on the ear.
DS only seems to get lethargic when he has a fever.
Now it's hard to tell what is attributed to the ear infection and what can be blamed on his cold or his teething.
All I can really say is that I am no help, but I do hope Cailen feels better.
