Another Daycare Question - Trial Run?
When you found a daycare you liked (in-home or center based), did you do a trial run with DC? Meaning did you start by leaving him/her there for 1 day a week right before leaving them there everyday so they would get used to it?
DS has only ever been taken care of by family members...but come 9/1 if my original care really falls through, he'll be going to daycare with someone he doesn't know. He's 16 weeks right now and will be 19 weeks when he starts. Should I leave him one or two days next week to see how he does if we go with the daycare?

Re: Another Daycare Question - Trial Run?
My son started daycare at 5 months - i did not do a trial run - i did not have time - but at that age - they do not usually have separation problems - my son had no problem - he loves going there and at 10 months he will cry when i leave the room except for when i leave daycare because he loves it there and has friends
