Another e-ring spinoff - those with 6 prong tiffany settings and a 5-stone wedding band
do you have any issues with one of the prongs from your e-ring rubbing against your w-band?
this has been happening to my rings and now there is a very tiny "dent" in one of the prongs on my e-ring (from years of it rubbing against the middle diamond in my w-band). my rings are platinum, which is a harder metal than gold. but nothing is indestructible.
this is why I want a new setting for my e-ring

My e-ring's prongs were designed with a slight indentation where the band would sit.

I have the same issue. I think that in a few years I will change from the gold to platinum as it's harder and won't dent as easy.

My e-ring's prongs were designed with a slight indentation where the band would sit. I would love to see a picture of that! would you be able to FM it to me?

I have known people who have had that issue. I have even heard of stones getting chipped from rubbing on another stone. Diamonds are not indestructible.

I have known people who have had that issue. I have even heard of stones getting chipped from rubbing on another stone. Diamonds are not indestructible. I used to work with a girl who cracked a diamond in her w-band b/c of this. I really want to get a new setting.
eta: she had a baguette that got cracked. my jeweler told me that baguette diamonds a much more fragile than round stones, which is what I have.
