she eats the same thing 2 days in a row? She doesn't finish a whole container of Gerber Graduate pasta pick ups or I'll give her Mac n cheese 2 (sometimes 3) days in a row for either lunch or dinner before freezing it.

There have been many many times that Emily ate the same thing for WEEKS because it was all I could get her to eat.

She eats little fruit cups -- either peaches or mandarin oranges -- almost every day with breakfast because it is convinient to pack for the sitter's and she actually likes it..l

so no .... not bad at all IMO.

Katherine has oatmeal EVERY day during the week, since it's the easiest thing to pack. As far as the other two meals, I feel like she's eating the same thing every day too. She's become really picky and basically only likes cheese, bread, and pasta. I do feel bad, but I don't think she realizes!

My thoery was if they were eating it, I didn't care if it was the same thing over and over. IT's better than having them not eat.

Not bad at all!! Especially not if there is something else with the meal that is different.

A variety is better, but any food is better than none. Sometimes you have to do what you can to get them to eat. I could eat the same thing everyday for lunch for a week -- and sometimes do.

For awhile my kids were living on chicken nuggets. Then I started putting stuff on their plates. Maddie always ate everything (have you ever heard of a kid that ate salad???). Joseph would cry that something was on his plate that he didn't like. We repeatedly said "It's a treasure hunt. Don't comment on anything that you don't like on your plate. You go find things you like & eat them."

Eventually, we saw him trying things when we weren't looking.
