another feeding question (sorry)
can you please post your 4month olds feeding schedule and how much they eat? I am afraid my DS and DD aren't getting enough calories and feeds in a day. TIA. Again, sorry for being a pain!

My DS was 16 weeks yesterday and he currently is still EBF. He either gets the boob or bottle about 5 times a day (every once in a while he takes 6 feedings)
When I pump for the bottle he gets about 6-7 ounces. (obviously I don't know how much he gets on the boob but I am sure it is about the same.)
He is a chunker so I am not worried that he is not getting enough.. he is probably about 17 pounds 
Anyway, we go to the doctor in 2 weeks and I am anticipating she may talk about starting cereal or something.

at 4 months, Lily was getting a bottle every 3-4 hours. 5 bottles total during the day, between 4-6 ounces in each.
But she's a little one.

DS will be 5 months on Jan 10. He is def eating a lot less in the last month or so, but I am not concerned since he is about 20 lbs  !!!
He is eating cereal 2x a day (mixed with either fruits or veggies) although he doesnt like it too much - he will eat about 5 spoonfuls at each feeding and he takes about 4-5 6 oz bottles throughout the day as well...

My daughter is just about 4 months and she is eating every 4-5 hours. She has 2 8 ounce bottles and 2 six ounce bottles with oatmeal throughout the day. I alternate bottles.

okay, i am feeling a little better. My twins were micropreemies so I chalk a lot of bad eating up to that. Right now, he eats about 5x a day anywhere from 3 -4ozs mixed with 4 teaspoons of rice and one extra tsp. of Neousre powder. (He has a vocal cord paralization so we need to thicken his forumla so he doesn't asparite it.) We just started spoonfeeding 1x day with a very little cereal and fruit. My DD has been a picky eater for the past 2mos. and definitely isn't drinking enough ( i won't even get into that). Okay, now that I have given you a long story, again, thank you for sharing your experiences.
