Another Formula Question and gassy/colicy related
When you switched formulas, how long did it take for the new formula to "kick in" and for you to see a difference in your baby?

DD was on Similac Advance w/iron first - the ped switched her to Soy about 4 weeks later - another 2 or 3 weeks later - no improvement. The ped then put her on Nutramigen - 48 hours later DD was much better.

When we switched from Alimentum to SOY it was almost immediately. Honestly it was a life saver for us. Before that I went through 5 formulas and some of them helped but not like the SOY. My ped said you should see a difference within 3 days.

I went from Similac Advance to Alimentum. The gas/constipation issues were instant - in day he was so much better. The reflux got worse before it got better (I think since it is lighter formula) but in a week it was fine - still mild reflux (so no big change). It didn't help the colic at all. Colic worked away on it's own by about 11 weeks or so.
