Another grocery store vent
Is it just me or does it seem like everything is so ridiculously costly at the grocery store lately?
I feel like everything is 2/$5.00.
Spices are $6.00 and $7.00 a pop. (And a lot of the spices I buy they do not sell at the dollar store.....I've looked).
Meat is $6.00 or $7.00 a package. (And that's the cheapest........you can easily spend more than that!).
Salad mix is over $3.00.
No wonder it seems like I have nothing in my cart, yet my order is still around $75.00-$100.00 a week.

Yes definitely! Food prices are going up AND packages are getting smaller

I totally agree. We don't walk out of the grocery store without at least a $60.00 bill every week and we don't even buy that much stuff. It's insane.

Yep..and I do my food shopping at the walmart near my house (im in PA); and their prices have gone up on lots of things. Easily my food bill is over $200 when I go every 2 weeks.
at shoprite it would be so much more $$

Hold on, because it is only going to get worse with the inflation that is coming. I try to buy my spices in Costco. They are much cheaper.
