Another Ham question
We are going to order the Honeybaked ham. But not sure how many pounds to get. We will be 7-8 people. 8pounds? 10pounds?

Re: Another Ham question
Will the ham be your only protein, or are you talking about Thanksgiving and also having turkey?

Re: Another Ham question
Ham doesn't really shrink and has little bone or waste. I think half pound per person is even a lot, maybe add an extra pound if you want extras.
10 lbs for 8 people is a lot especially with multiple sides.
A "serving" is 3 ounces, so my suggestion is more than 2 servings per person.
You can freeze leftovers and use in a lot of ways. So that's a plus!

Another Ham question
When you go to place your order on the Honeybaked Ham site, it gives you a guideline of how much to order per person. I always end up ordering more because I send my guests home with leftovers and keep some for myself too.

The Ham is the only protein. no turkey. There will be other items to eat but no meats.

3/4 lb per person then. 8lbs will give you plenty of leftovers!
