Another Highlight spinoff

Does anyone do it themselves?

If so, which kind do you use?

I couldn't. I'd be too afraid.

I used to, but had a bad experience once, so ever since then I let the professionals do it. Chat Icon

That is how I feel, so I wanted to see everyone's experiences.

Re: Another Highlight spinoff

My mom used to do it for me. I've done it a couple of times myself and I thought it came out pretty good. I have only used the cap type though, not the brush in highlights. I mostly now have trouble pulling the pieces through. It was much easier when I had my mom to help, cause DH has a bit of truoble with it.

ETA - I think it's mostly been Clairol Frost and Tip.

I used to do the same kind in HS when money was tight. I would have a friend do it for me and it used to come out REALLY well!!!! The only difference I felt like was my roots would grow in faster but thats no big deal.
She used to do such a good job it inspired her to go to beauty school!
