ANOTHER holiday question-BTDTs of toddlers...
What did YOU get your toddler for Christmas?
Last year we got him 1 toy b/c our family is very generous, but I am guessing I should get more, but I am stumped.
So, tell me what you are getting/got for your toddler for Christmas!! THanks!

I've been buying lots of stuff for a few weeks now. Some he gets when we walk in the door - because I am so weak and want to see him happy and playing with his new toys. The rest is upstairs growing into a huge pile.
I am shopping the sales - I got him a ton of Leap Frog things. I am obsessed with the kid not talking - so basically anything that helps that alone is sitting in my guest bedroom.  LOADS and LOADS of books. He can't get enough of them!
My parents are getting him a kitchen. Not sure about what other big gifts I will be getting him.

Last year dd was almost 3 and ds was 18 months. We only gave them each like 2 gifts from us. One from each other. A bunch from Santa.
Plus all the gifts from family members. It was like fantasia over here even with us not giving much.
ETA: Wow, I can't believe how much people have bought already! I haven't given it any thought yet.

Clippos
Backyardigans circus set
Melissa and Doug wood blocks
A few other odds and ends.
From my mom: probably a play kitchen

This year an easel, paints & smock. She'll also be getting a keyboard and a ukelele.
It doesn't help you much seeing that you have a boy but she'll also be getting some doll accessories (changing table, bassinet or crib).

This year we are going to try and stay within a budget. We ended up getting her a ton of toys and clothes that she didnt need last year, but since we're her parents we love to buy her things lol.
We are going to get a couple things for her to open on Xmas but put the money we would normally spend away for a swingset in the spring.

I've only thought of what to get him but not if anything specific will be from us. I think it'll all go under the tree from Santa...not that he understands anyway at this point - greedy booger (I kid)

Last Year when DS was 18 months we got him some clothes and stuff from the Disney Store. DH went there one day and went nuts shopping...LOL We also got him a few toys.
He is now 2 and this year I want to get him a step 2 kitchen and the little people busy day home. DH wants to get him drums...(Heaven Help Us...LOL) Maybe some Melissa and doug puzzles too. I don't want to go too crazy because he gets some from friends and family...

I remember getting the Bounce and Spin Zebra for Kate for Christmas when she was a toddler--15 mos. I think she also got the Little People Barn. Probably books. I'm drawing a blank, but then again, we didn't go totally nuts at that age. I don't know what I'm going to do for Abby--I feel like we have everything already!!!
