Another homemade babyfood Q

Is anyone worried about the pots and pans you prepare it in? I'm getting worried about using nonstick. Am I being too crazy? I just don't want any chemicals leeching in to DCs food. What do you use?

Kit,
I steam the food in a pamperd chef microwave steamer (you can use pot on stove) food gets so soft, then I used a hand blender (cuisineart) to puree it..
You can steam everthing and make really soft or firm as you want...

i wouldnt use the nonstick stuff.. it contains teflon. which is bad for you to even breathe in if not prop vented.

just us a reg pot and/ collander with a lid.. steam that way. thats what i did.Chat Icon

I use stainless steel pots and pans - I usually steam stuff using the stainless steel pots. But, I don't really use non-stick for me either.

I do not use pots & pans that have a coating, nor do I use aluminum. I use stainless steel or glass (pyrex) if I am cooking in the oven. My stainles steel pot has a steamer basket.

I would not use nonstick at all. I use stainless or glass...

I use a steamer. It's made of plastic. I don't worry about it.
