Another Lease Question (services)
Do you get all your services, or just do oil changes?
If you do all your services, do you get a service plan when you lease your vehical, so you don't have to worry about paying out of pocket each time. I have this now with my SUV, but I wonder it it's really necesary.

Re: Another Lease Question (services)
With our BMWs, all of the services were covered. With our other cars, wear and tear is not. We have a mercedes and the maintenance on that is ridiculous. I just had the service light come up for a C (?) type service and it cost me 450 bucks! The guy at mercedes was really nice and told me that from now on, I should just take it to my local mechanic (for regular maintenance) and be sure to keep receipts so that Mercedes can't come back to me and say that I didn't maintain the car.

Re: Another Lease Question (services)
that is why I like that I got the maintenance plan with my Cherokee. This way anytime I need a service it costs me nothing (it's already in the payments, and works out to be cheaper than if I brought the car in each time without the plan).
I don't have a mechanic down here that I would trust going to.

What about the xyz mileage service. Do you do all the recommended ones?

Re: Another Lease Question (services)
nope, I don't. But I do go for oil changes to my mechanic and he will flush fluids..etc..he checks everything they will check. I just keep records of maintenance, although I have never needed them when I turned my cars in.
