another LI resteraunt recommendation needed - somewhere festive & good for the holidays?!?!
Thurs night I am going to dinner with my sister and some girlfriends to celebrate the holidays. We can't decide where to go. We want something nice (I want to dress up), good food, and special - festive for the holidays. We are looking Western Suffolk or Nassau.
We were thinking the Carltun or Garden City Hotel. Has anyone ever been there for dinner?
Any other suggestions?

mmm the Rose Hunt Room at Fox Hollow is so good! They decorate beautifully in there, too. I was just there yesterday!

Not Western, but The Three Village Inn in Stony Brook is such a treat for the holidays!

if you arent really set on Nassau...my DH and I went to 21 Main in Sayville on Saturday night and had the most fantastic meal!! I highly recommend it!! We got dressed up for dinner and didnt feel like we were over dressed.
