Another long night- maybe TMI

Last night was the fourth night in my pregnancy where I spent the whole time in the bathroom like I had horrible food poisoning. By that I mean, I sit on the toilet and throw up in the sink at the same time. -Think that Sopranos episode when Tony eats the bad fish -
Now I am finally feeling OK enough to make some jello and complain to my fellow preggos... lucky for DH he works nights and doesn't witness these events.

Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only lucky one?

Dr. had no explanation, just that things I eat may be affecting me differently. Last night I had a slice of pizza and a tiny bowl of icecream- same thing I always eat.

I really hope my last trimester doesn't have more of this coming!

I went through this a few weeks back and my OB said it was a virus. I kept nothing down 4 days straight, 24/7. It was horrible. I ate bagels and crackers. Hope you feel better soon.

Aw, only time I experienced something like that was when I had a bad flu. Hopefully it was just a rare thing

You poor thing- this actually happened to me on Saturday night. It was AWFUL- . I happened to have a little piece of ice cream cake right before it happened also. The strangest thing was that I felt 100% fine before it happened. There is a stomach thing going around- it's just odd that you have had this happen 4X already!

I had terrible MS until 14 weeks...I threw up 4 times a day and when I wasnt throwing up, I was so sick to my stomach any movement or even talking would make me vomit I hope that you feel better soon!!

Are you sure it's not a stomach bug? I had one during my first tri-mester and wanted to die for 4 days straight. Everyone kpet saying maybe it was morning sickness, but I knew it wasn't because I'd never had any and I was running a fever. Unfortunately, if it is a stomach bug, there's not much you can do other than wait it out. I hope you feel better soon! Make yourself some plain white rice. It was the only thing I was able to keep down.

It sounds to me that it is more of a virus-type thing rather than pregnancy related. I hope you don't have to go through that again! Feel better!

I am wondering if there is a stomach virus going around bc I feel very nauseas myself and my MS stopped at 15 weeks and I feel sick again at 23 weeks. Very odd!

A few people I work with have been sick with a stomach virus. I hope you feel better soon

lately my stomach has been horrible - i dont know if it is the heat or what. but it seems like every couple of weeks it happens - it is definately not fun

Oh Beth, I'm so sorry you had such an awful night

As the other ladies said, it sounds more like a "virus" as opposed to a pregnancy thing. But this heat isn't helping any of us lately and also I have been getting bouts of nauseau and diarrhea lately too soo maybe its just a 3rd trimester thing (I think you are in your 3rd trim. now, right?)

Ok I'm not helping so I'll shut up

Feel better and take care of yourself today... goes w/out saying but keep hydrated most of all

Thanks everyone for your well wishes!!

Im in and out of sleep but starting to feel better.



ETA Im trying to stay hydrated and didnt go into the city for work today- hopefully its over soon.

I had this when I was about 10 weeks - it was terrible I ended up in the ER for dehydration. It ended up being a virus.
Try to keep as hydrated as possible. I hope you feel better
