Another MMR question
So Maddie got the MMR vaccine last Thursday. On Monday she started to come down with a slight cold (runny nose otherwise acting fine). She's had several of these colds now this winter and she usually gets over it fine except for the last one where she developed a double ear infection about a week later.
Now this evening she's been especially cranky and I took her temp and she's 101. Could this be from her vaccine or from her cold? If she didn't have the cold I would just assume it's from the vaccine. Also she just finished her antibiotics 2 wks ago, could she be developing another ear infection again, already!?
Obviously I'll see how she does tonight and probably give the ped a call in the morning just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Re: Another MMR question
a fever from a vaccine usually comes within 24 hours of getting the vaccine. i don't think the MMR had anything to do with it.
i hope maddie feels better soon!!!

Re: Another MMR question
actually the MMR is one of the only vaccines that can produce a fever a week to 10 days later.

This is what we experienced here plus the measles from the MMR.
