Another proud mommy post - sign language
I have been teaching DS sign language since he was 3 months. He will be 6 months next week.
This morning he actually clearly showed he understood the sign for milk. I showed his the sign and he turned around and pulled on my shirt to BF.
I almost cried!

Re: Another proud mommy post - sign language
I am using the DVD "sign with your baby" by Dr. Joseph Garcia.
They usually recommend starting at 7-8 months.

AWESOME! Alex started learning around 6 months, and OMG it helped SO much - she STILL uses it sometimes when she's too lazy to talk

That's great. I taught my DD just a few signs and it made a world of difference for us!

That's awesome! My DD uses the sign for milk when she wants it. We used "Babies First Signs" DVD by baby Einstein.
