Another pumpkin picking post - suggestions please
DH is off tomorrow and I want to go pumpkin (and possibly apple) picking. I was hoping to find a place that has more than just picking - hay rides, ponies, etc... but will any place have that open on a Friday? And even if not a Friday, which places have all that? (Maybe we'll go on the weekend instead) TIA

We took DD1 to Schmitts Farm in Melville last year. They had a petting zoo, pony rides, play area, bounce house, bounce slide, giant haystack to climb, haunted house and a corn maze. No apple picking though.... they have pumpkins, and other veggies. here is the site....call them to see if all those things are available during the week. http://www.schmittfarms.com/

This is the place that mamakap went to last week and her pics are soooo cute! I checked their website and they are now open 7 days a week! We're hoping to go on a weekday within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks! This is where we went for DS first Halloween picking. We were thinking of going out east this year.
