ANother Q - anyone use a post-partum doula?
I have one lined up, my mom is out of state and offered to get one for a few days. I went with the doula instead of a baby nurse b/c a) hard to find a nurse and b)doula seems more supportive. The only thing I'm wondering about is - part of this is for them to help me with house stuff, she does do that, but b/c its a supportive relationship - it seems kinda odd to have a list of "chores" to do - KWIM? Anyone use a post-partum doula?
TIA!

I did not use a post partum doula. But the doula I did use during labor also does post partum work. She is amazing. Will offer BFing support. If you are FF feeding she will do all night wakings so you and/or DH don't have to.
She will cook, clean, laundry, run errands. Or just be there for you to talk to.
I LOVE her and would recommend her to anyone. Let me know if you want her info
