Another question about having children close together.

What did your parents and friends say when they found out you were pg. We plan on ttcing again next month and I am actually dreading telling some peoplewhen it does happen because I know they will think they are to close together. So did people get comments? If we happened to get pg on the first try they would be 17 months apart.

My DD and this new baby will be 18 months apart. It wasn't planned, but my DH and I are happy.

Our families have been very supportive - as well as our close friends. Some people say stupid things, but we take it in stride.

Very good question. That has been a fear of mine and I don't know why. I just think that everyone will think we are crazy having two kids 16 months apart.

I've heard it all. The biggest thing is that you'll have your hands full. I still get stopped and told this in public. LOL (mine are 18 months apart)

Ours are 16 months apart and I get a lot of "WOW! You must be busy!" I just say yes and smile. I honestly don't care what anyone thinks, it's working for us and that's all that matters.

Plus, I think that no matter what the age difference is there are big adjustments and busy schedules, just different growing pains and different activities.
